Our stay at Quarter Deck 17 was fantastic. We were very happy there for 2 weeks. One small suggestion - neither of the showers had soap dishes or a shower caddy, so it was difficult to shower with nowhere to put the soap but on the floor of the shower.
No words can describe the view. It's over fantastically. For times we could just sit on the porch and admire the wonderful view.
Was very nice, easy to find and service was very good.
Upon entering, the apartment had an unpleasant smell. You could clearly see that the place was made neat and clean just on the surface. The shower was full of brown mud footprints, stockings were lying on the patio table, in the washing machine were some socks, under the 1 bed were 2 sleeping scarves, there were marks on the bedding and under the dining table it was full of crumbs. The place has also clearly been lived in, the carpets are dirty, the backs of the chairs you sit on give way, the chair covers are dirty, the small pillows have never been washed and need an urgent replacement. The apartment can be a pleasant place if the owners renew and upgrade it and, very importantly, see that the cleaners clean properly.
The location is perfect with restaurants, a few shops and a small beach walking distance from the apartment. The unit is well equipped with everything you need. The bathrooms are a bit small, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway. The only negative, the place lists a barbecue place, but it's really just a small Weber whose bottom has seen better days. But I will definitely use the apartment again.
The only weakness was the beds which make a lot of noise and creak, suggest replacing all the bases.
But braai is broken and mattresses on beds are old and done! Unit generally needs upgrading especially in bathrooms.
Very nice view of the harbor. We were allowed to clock in and out earlier.

Location was ideal we could walk to restaurants and view was beautiful..
Fantastic place that is clean and tidy. No problems and it was just fine.
